TECHNIQUE

horizontal rule

My technique has arisen from instinct; canvases, canvas boards, smooth or rough cardboards, wood and glass.

Acrylic colours using either spray or brushes, temperas, charcoals, transparent and opaque glosses, medium, nitro, inks, solvents, water colours, copper supports and aluminium under glass.

Spatulas, brushes, sponges, relief outliners, tin foil, cementite, stencils, impressions pressed down with paint rollers and colours laid down with bare hands are all part of my personal way of working making the most of materials and colours purely by chance or deliberately searched for.

Ignoring the rules of the perspective, of lines, of curves and shapes, my absolute freedom of expression pushes me to search for new things, digging in the past and momentary states of mind where the sky can be light green, the sea fluorescent orange and where improvising is a school of thought.
